The system isn’t broken. It’s working against you.
| Own the mission. Lay the bricks. Lock in.
The world is tightening its grip on your wallet.
Taxes rise.
Inflation erodes.
Rules change mid-game.
The solution — looking forward and backward — is the same:
Become a sovereign individual.
Sovereign means:
- Acting independently
- Operating without outside interference
- Possessing control over your direction, time, and decisions
That’s what you become when you stop playing the game
and start building your own.
This is the true path forward.
And strangely enough — the true path back.
Sounds crazy?
I went to see the remake of The Running Man.

The original came out in 1987 and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I’m an action-movie junkie. Always have been.

The remake hit harder than I expected — not because it was futuristic,
but because it felt familiar.
This wasn’t a dystopian thriller.
It was a mirror.
A working man.
A wife. A daughter.
A temper. A backbone.
He stands for truth.
Loses his livelihood.
Gets pushed into a televised survival game.
He fights the system.
Becomes a revolutionary.
Walks away with his family — and the bag — while exposing the lie.
Sound familiar?
It should.
Empires don’t collapse quietly
They distract their people first.
In Roman times, it was gladiators.
Today it’s:
- Sports
- Influencers
- Reality TV
- TikTok drama
- Endless Netflix binges
- News headlines just loud enough to keep you anxious
All designed to entertain you.
All designed to distract you.
Even war has become performance.
In The Running Man, people risked their lives for money —
for a shot to get ahead.
That’s not fiction.
That’s a warning.
We’re shown the future over and over
Hunger Games.
Divergent.
The Running Man.
We laugh.
We move on.
But the message stays the same.
Here’s a book that connects the dots and it hit me like a ton of bricks.
The book that connected the dots
The Sovereign Individual.
This isn’t just about money.
It’s about:
- Mental warfare
- Power structures
- Escaping systems designed to extract from you
It blends ancient wisdom with future reality
and hands you a blueprint for independence.

The real enemy
The system is full of loopholes and traps — and none of them are built for you to win.
They want:
- Your time
- Your money
- Your silence
Taxes are just the surface.
Add inflation.
Add credit scores.
Add workplace politics.
Add digital censorship.
The sovereign individual doesn’t just survive this.
He outsmarts it.
He stops playing with broken rules
and starts operating above them.
Start moving different
Once this clicks, everything shifts.
You don’t panic.
You plan.
You don’t obey.
You operate.
I’ve lived it.
Barbering.
Real estate.
IT consulting.
Personal training.
Playing the long game across multiple systems.
Sovereignty isn’t a moment.
It’s a daily decision.
And the reward?
Clarity.
Control.
The power to say yes or no — and mean it.

This isn’t survival.
This is legacy.
Here’s the mission:
- Audit your life. Where are you being drained? Start there.
- Learn one skill that increases independence — finance, crypto, coding, sales.
- Build community. Lone wolves don’t win wars.
- Multiply your wins. Replicate what works.
- Teach others. Power multiplies when knowledge is passed on.
The rebuild
You already know the game is rigged.
You feel it every time you swipe your card,
clock into work,
or scroll past another manufactured crisis.
But you don’t have to stay trapped.
You can rise.
You can rebel.
You can rebuild.
The sovereign path isn’t easy
but once you walk it, no one can take it from you.
Blueprint your next move
If you could have figured this out alone,
you would have already built your sovereign life by now.
No king rises without counsel.
No builder lays bricks without a plan.
No warrior wins without strategy.
I’ve opened a limited number of 1-on-1 ATD Strategy Calls —
custom sessions where we:
- Identify what’s draining your power
- Map your next moves based on where you actually are
- Apply tools from AD45, PMJR, or the ATD Guide
- Hold you accountable weekly for a month if you’re serious
Let’s move different.
Ready to lead your own revolution?
Start with The Sovereign Individual.
Read it. Annotate it. Wrestle with it.
If you need one-on-one help —
let’s make it happen.
Attack the day,
— Drew
