Are You Stuck in the Same Cycle?
Another Day
Listen up, fellas.
I used to tackle life like the Hulk. No joke—I’d lead with anger and brute strength.
I mean, everything was about force: grinding through work, handling problems, and even dealing with people.
Sometimes, I still catch myself saying,
“I need to get mad to get this done.”
It’s almost funny.
But that’s how I psyched myself up—like I needed to unleash my Dark passenger just to power through the day.
Sound familiar?

If You’re in Your Late 30s, You Know Exactly What I Mean
Here’s the deal: by this stage, a lot of us are trying to define our lives—or redefine them.
You’re looking at your choices, wondering which ones were right, which ones were wrong, and which ones were just plain dumb.
But what do we do?
We keep trying to smash our way forward, thinking if we just hit it harder, it’ll all work out.
But spoiler alert: it doesn’t. Sure, the “get angry, get it done” approach worked when you were younger. It got you through tough spots. But now? You might be realizing that anger and brute force are only getting you so far.
It’s Time to Get Real: Are You Stuck in a Single Mode?
Look, I was stuck, too—always in attack mode.
But here’s the reality check: sometimes, that same intensity that used to work wonders is the very thing holding you back now.
Like the Hulk, who eventually learns to balance his raw power with actual brains, you’ve got to find your own hybrid version.
I’m not saying you should become a pansy.
Far from it.
I’m saying you need to understand the cycle you’re in.
Sometimes, yes, you need to Hulk out and push hard.
But other times, you need a different approach—patience, strategy, or, dare I say it, even listening to someone else’s advice. I know, it’s a tough pill to swallow.
Your Challenge: Stop Smashing, Start Evolving
All right, here’s where I get a little confrontational: What the hell are you doing about it?
If you’re still running on rage fumes and not getting the results you want, it’s time to shift gears. Here’s how:
• Level 1: Self-awareness—Look in the mirror. Are you always in “smash” mode? Is anger your go-to strategy? Be honest with yourself.
• Level 2: Connect—Find another guy who’s been around the block, maybe someone going through the same thing. Talk it out. You’d be surprised how much wisdom you can get from another man’s perspective.
• Level 3: Evolve—Pick one new tactic this week that’s not about brute force. Try something you learned from your conversation or read somewhere. Yes, it might feel weird, but what have you got to lose?
Attack Tomorrow, Starting Today
If you want to keep smashing the same walls, go ahead.
But if you’re serious about growing, you need to change it up. Recognize the cycle you’re in, get some new moves, and stop trying to hammer your way through every problem.

Blueprint Your Success Now
Don’t wait for another day of frustration. Take action today. Recognize where you’re stuck, talk to someone, and try something new. You’ve got one life, so make the most of it.
