If you don’t know your why you’ll lose
Every year, my family and I gather for the Super Bowl—not for the game itself, but for the halftime show.
If I’m being honest, that’s what really got us into watching in the first place. My wife, in particular, is a huge fan of the performances, and over time, she pulled me into the tradition.
But funny enough, she also got me into something else: real estate.
Like the Super Bowl it became a bonding experience for us—grabbing wings, chips, and drinks while yelling at the TV—buying a home was something she opened my eyes to. She helped me see the benefits, the value, and most importantly, the “why” behind it.
Why Are You in the Game?
With real estate, just like with football, everyone has their own reason for being in the game. Some people buy a home for investment purposes, some want stability, others are focused on building generational wealth.
Your “why” won’t look like the person next to you—and it doesn’t have to.
But you have to know what it is.
I don’t know who your team was this Super Bowl. I enjoy the chaos—screaming at the TV, picking a team based on whoever I dislike the least, and having a good time. No matter who you root for, the game is always better when you have a reason behind it. The same goes for buying a home.
